QUITE A JOURNEY

Stratosphere pours a hazy deep gold with a white head that doesn't hang around long. The dry hopping hits you before the glass reaches your mouth — tropical and resinous, mango and pine fighting for the front seat.

First sip is full and sticky. Stone fruit upfront, grapefruit rind in the middle, a long bitter finish that earns its 8.5%. Four hop additions show — this isn't a one-note IPA, there's genuine layering here.
